Professor Gao Jun Visits Harvard to Strengthen JITRI Collaboration with STGA

On July 2, 2026, Professor Gao Jun, Vice President of the Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute (JITRI), visited Harvard University to learn more about the Social Technology for Global Aging (STGA) initiative. During his visit, Professor Gao met with Professor Arthur Kleinman, Professor Fawwaz Habbal, and the STGA coordinator to discuss the program's interdisciplinary framework, current research activities, and future directions. The visit strengthened the institutional relationship between Harvard and JITRI and provided an opportunity to share STGA's vision of integrating care, social systems, and technological innovation to address the challenges of global aging. Discussions also explored opportunities for future collaboration in interdisciplinary research, pilot projects, and knowledge exchange related to aging and care.
